Greetings Evening Family!

We have some exciting news to share! We are finally getting AC and Heating in our gym. A new HVAC system will be installed with renovations to support our new system. As exciting as this is for us, we will have to make some immediate changes, whereas we will not be able to utilize the gym beginning the week of April 29th. We are relocating our coaches to an empty room for office space and using a multi-purpose room for times when PE will be inside.

Keeping in mind we have end of year ceremonies for specific grade levels, we had to make some changes to the dates for each of them.

Updates for End of Year Bridging Ceremonies:

  • Kindergarten – May 16th @ 8:30 am

  • 5th Grade – May 17th @ 8:30am

  • VPK (Voluntary Prekindergarten) – May 20th @ 8:30 am

Ceremonies will be held in our cafeteria. We will transform the space into an auditorium to accommodate students and guests. With the limited space, we will only be able to allow for 2 guests per student for kindergarten and 5th grade classes. Entrance tickets will be available for students with specific information.

Siblings who will not require a seat will be permitted without a ticket.

Upcoming Family Event:

  • “Hotdog, it’s summer! Family Engagement Night – May 9th –5pm – 7pm – This fun-filled night engages families in several opportunities to prepare for summer and have fun doing so. As our planning continues for this event, we are excited to bring something new too, but you must be here to find out what it is. We are giving away backpacks of goodies and loading you up with activities you can enjoy with family and friends. More information coming soon...

Community Event: Dodgeball Tournament will be held in our gym on April 27th from 9am – 4pm. This event is hosted by the Florida Council for Crime and Delinquency. Free to the Community.

End of year testing begins tomorrow for VPK and Kindergarten students. Students will be taking their STAR Early Literacy/Reading tests. The first and second tests will be on Tuesday, April 23rd.

REMEMBER: Attendance goals for the remainder of the year: 95% present and ready to learn.

I hope you enjoy the remainder of your day. See you all tomorrow.
